Suresh returns to New York and finds a previously undiscovered Mendez painting that foreshadows the death of someone dear to him. Claire and HRG both pursue their own individual agendas. Determined to get into the United States, Maya uses her abilities to get Alejandro out of prison. Meanwhile, Ando returns to his job in Japan; Hiro, still in Japan's past, writes off Kensei, but is later surprised by a childhood hero; Niki and a lost hero use shady dealings to get what they want; and two heroes return.
